How to order Picture Frames

Prior to placing your order you will need to measure your artwork and allow our built in calculator to do the hard work for you.

If you require a single mount card I will need you to measure your artwork as follows:
-            Decide the window size, which will show your picture. A x B Remember that the mount card must overlap the artwork by 5mm all round.

-            We recommend a 50mm margin at the top and sides with 60mm at the bottom. The wider bottom margin is standard practise to prevent your picture looking top heavy.

-           Your completed picture frame size will be B+C+E by A+D+D. However, for pricing purposes, once these figures are entered, our calculator gives the final cost including mount card and is ready to hang.

If you require a double mount card of the same or complimentary colour, please follow the instructions for a single mount card, but now decide how much of the inner mount card you would like showing.

We recommend 5mm. To compliment your picture, as a rule, the outer or uppermost mount is a lighter colour than the inner one.
